Space Oddities

What you think is the strangest thing about space today? Anti-matter? Dark energy? Galactic Cannibalism? As strange and exciting as that last one sounds, it's actually quite common and therefore familiar in my book. I am more inclined to cast my vote for vacuum energy (or zero-point energy) - a side-effect of quantum theory in which boundless amounts of energy await harnessing in seemingly empty space. Maybe space holds the answer to our energy crisis...

Head on over to Space.com to vote for what strikes you as the oddest phenomena in our universe.
